Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Intervention

  • Strategic Memory and Reasoning Training (SMART) for ADHD
    This intervention teaches strategies that promote higher level cognitive skills. The ability to optimize memory and reasoning helps the brain abstract the central meaning or gist of written information.

  • Virtual Computerized Social Learning Program
    An innovative social learning program using the latest computer technology to: 1) teach the basic building blocks of face perception and body language for successful functioning in a social context and 2) rehearse in a safe and flexible environment the complexity of social dilemmas (i.e. interviewing for a job, asking for a date). Assessment

  • Cognitive-Linguistic Evaluation
    Assessment to distinguish normal changes in memory, language, and functional abilities that occur with age from possible disease factors. Individuals will be provided with specific recommendations to optimize function.
