    Higher level cognitive processes are essential for successful learning. This intervention provides instruction to improve memory and reasoning skills that may be interrupted due to stroke.

Traumatic Brain Injury

Assessment

    Evaluate language, memory, learning, problem solving and social skills and provide specific recommendations, home program suggestions and short-term intervention if needed

  • Strategic Memory and Reasoning Training (SMART) for TBI
    Remediation of memory and reasoning skills that may be delayed or undeveloped due to TBI. This intervention provides step-by-step strategies to improve learning and cognitive processing.

  • Virtual Computerized Social Learning Program
    An innovative social learning program using the latest computer technology to 1) teach the basic building blocks of face perception and body language for successful functioning in a social context and 2) rehearse in a safe and flexible environment the complexity of social dilemmas (i.e. interviewing for a job, asking for a date).
