Researchers at the Center for BrainHealth are investigating how a high-performance cognitive training program can improve social decision making in adults with Autism. A training program, known as Strategic Memory Advanced Reasoning Training (SMART) is being offered to strengthen the brain’s frontal networks – regions that support attention, judgment and emotional management. Cognitive functions taught in this training will be applied to enhance strategies for social reasoning and social function.


Ages 18-40
Those who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder


Cognitive assessments before and after training
A 4-week, 9-hour online reasoning training in a group format

Those who complete the study will receive a post-training report and recommendations.
