The Center for BrainHealth hosted its 15th annual Legacy Awards Dinner at the Dallas Country Club to honor the Honorable Thomas C. Leppert, former Dallas mayor, and co-leader of the BrainHealth Project. The event was chaired by Josey and Craig Kennington, with Craig Hall and Gary Kelly serving as honorary co-chairs. Golf-themed elements were incorporated throughout the evening, with golf ball-shaped escort cards and golf ball cake balls as favors. During the program, Dr. Geoff Ling praised Leppert's leadership in helping the Center for BrainHealth lead the way in an international dialogue about the brain in health rather than only a focus on brain disease or injury. A tribute video was played for Leppert, and Dr. Sandra Bond Chapman announced the 2022 Tom Leppert BrainHealth Scholars Program.
