As an adult, navigating uncomfortable social situations can be frustrating and debilitating, adversely affecting relationships and career prospects. Charisma offers personalized, flexible training in an interactive world that has shown to improve understanding of emotions and intentions of others, better initiate and maintain conversations and better integrate social function into daily life.
Transitioning from High School to the next stage can be challenging. Whether it's starting college, a new job or taking a gap-year, transitioning to an adult life with adult responsibilities requires a very unique social skill-set including initiating and maintaining personal and professional relationships, resolving conflict in academic or professional setting and practicing self-assertion to advocate for one’s own needs.
Charisma can enhance your ability to navigate your most difficult social situations, helping achieve your social, professional or academic goals. Customized sessions are led by social coaches and offer real-time conversational practice in an engaging computerized virtual environment.
5-week,10 hour Charisma training that is customized to fit your individual social needs and includes: individualized consultation prior to training, social assessments before and after training as well as a post-training report and review session.

Learn science-based social cognition strategies that help individuals to initiate and maintain conversations, navigate peer relationships, manage confrontation and peer pressure, identify emotions and intentions, integrate social skills into daily life.
Personalized Report and Recommendations
Receive a social performance report and personalized strategies to reinforce and build upon social successes achieved during the five-week training.
WHAT ARE THE TRAINING OPTIONS?
- Individualized social-cognitive assessment with tailored recommendations (stand-alone assessment and recommendations)
- Individual training program including pre- and post-training assessment
- On-going, individual booster sessions are available once the 10-hour training has been completed

Through practice, users develop confidence and adopt behavioral changes that translate into real-world interactions. They can practice initiating conversations, dealing with confrontation and peer pressure, asking someone out on a date, interviewing for a job and more.
Adult participants who completed the 10-hour social cognition training showed improvement in understanding the emotions and intentions of others as well as reporting the following social benefits in their everyday life, even three months after the training:
- 71% reported improvement in starting a conversation
- 100% reported improvement in maintaining a conversation
- 86% reported improvement in understanding other points of view
- 86% reported improvement in establishing relationships
The program can adapt to each new stage of adolescence and adulthood, and it provides support to individuals with social challenges and neurodevelopmental differences like ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and social anxiety.
While this training was originally developed through research with individuals with social impairments, such as autism and ADHD, a formal diagnosis is no longer required to participate. Individuals must have graduated from high school.
