THE ART OF KINDNESS
In celebration of World Kindness Day, the Kindness Enterprise hosts an art contest for high school and college students from across the Dallas area. This is an opportunity for students of all disciplines to engage with neuroscience in a way that is tangible. The contest provides a framework to reflect and process their experiences through art and the neuroscience of kindness.
“To find similarities in each other’s lives is to discover that we are all human. Empathy is more than an emotion — it is something we can practice, develop and strengthen every day of our lives,” explained by Brian Beaman, 2019 grand prize winner for his graphite piece, “Loving Embrace.”
